Recommendation for Cabinet Catches
Question:
Hi, I used bulldog style cabinet catches in our previous house to keep the toddler out of the kitchen cabinets, and am looking to install same in the new house for the new baby. I am seeing reviews saying these are not very strong and am wondering if a different style like a double roller is stronger? I realize thats not their intended use, but the ones I had from Rockler worked very well for that purpose. The toddler couldnt pull hard enough to open the cabinets. Do you have any suggestions on which type might be better? Thank you in advance!

I like the Bulldog Catches, # 37270305 and think they work very well. But we do have the Friction Catches with Metal Clips, # 37270215 available as well. Each of these I think are a solid product, with the # 37270215 maybe having a bit more friction to release but I don't think there is a lot difference.
