Troubleshooting Front End Sway Of A 2022 Entegra Odyssey 25R Class C Motorhome With SumoSprings
Question:
Sumo spring sag-106-47 I've installed sumo springs on front of 2022 e450 cutaway chassis of my Entegra odyssey 25r rv class c the bottom of the springs do no touch by a half an inch ?? How will these springs help control 18 wheel push if they don’t in gauge until after the sway occurs

Expert Reply:
A half inch gap between your SumoSprings # SSF-106-47 and the front axle is well within the normal range. The SumoSprings you installed are on the softer side of the spectrum so if you're experiencing a lot of sway you would actually want to go on the heavier side with the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TUMDF70. These Timbren springs have a combined 5,600-lb capacity and are much stiffer than the SumoSprings which will only reach their max capacity of 500lbs each when they are compressed 80%. The Timbren's will also have spacers available like the # TA25722-90P00 to close any gap if there is one.
Swapping to these stiffer springs will help solve your sway issue when making tight turns and passing semi's.
You could also add on some anti-sway bars to help with body roll/swaying. For your 2022 Entegra Odyssey Class C Motorhome you would need the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-176 for the front and the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-147 for the rear.
