Recommended Tow Bar Wiring Kit For Flat Towing A 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

At this time there currently is not a plug in tow bar wiring kit available for a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Instead I recommend going with the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. Although this won't be as easy as just plugging in some connectors I do recommend splicing kits over the magnetic light kits that you'd have to reinstall every time you want to tow and could potentially lose while towing. This wiring kit comes with everything you need and the attached video below will walk you through installation if you choose to save yourself some money and install this yourself.

Note: Models with ParkSense Proximity Sensors will instead need the Roadmaster Wiring Kit with Smart Diodes for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights # RM47ZR.

If you haven't already purchased a tow bar, base plate, braking system, or safety cables then I have the following recommendations for you as well:

Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000lbs # RM-522. This tow bar features a non-binding design and large hookup radius that will make connecting and disconnecting on any terrain a breeze.

Base Plate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521453-5. These direct-connect base plates will make connecting/disconnecting simple and fast. The removable arms will provide a clean look and save your shins when not in use.

Braking System: Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # HM39530. This braking system offers fully proportional braking with a system that never has to be removed, replaced, or reset. The actuator installs out of sight and remains virtually invisible when your car isn't being towed. This controller also works as a trailer brake controller so you won't have to purchase a separate one if you decide to tow a trailer with your Jeep. It also has a charging feature that will keep your vehicle battery charged while towing so you won't arrive at your destination and have to then deal with a dead battery.

Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs RM-643. The coiled design of these cables will help prevent them from dragging on the ground and being damaged.

You may also require a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar level while towing your Jeep. This will require some measuring so I've attached our help guide article which will walk you through all the steps.
