How To Hook Up Electric Trailer Brake Controller On Winnebago Brave Motorhome
Question:
I have a 7-round on the back and expect/hope there may be a brake wire/harness located under the dash. I would like to put a digital prodigy controller on it and would buy it and a custom adapter from you guys if you have it. If you can tell me where to look for the factory harness that would be great, and of course your part numbers so I can order. Thanks

I do have an option for you but there aren't any brake controller wiring provisions on the Workhorse chassis. That said, all you will have to do is run some wires from the trailer connector to the the controller and then from the controller to the battery using the Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers part # 5506. This will be almost everything you need to install an electric trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195. That said, these kits are designed for passenger vehicles so you will need to extend the wires that run from the rear to the front of the motorhome using part # 10-2-1 (sold per foot).
