Can 1156 Light Replace 1141 Bulb
Question:
Can a 1156 bulb be used in place of a 1141 bulb that i took out of a porch light on a travel trailer. The prongs that hold it in and lenght all look the same. I did not know if 1 gets hotter or brighter than the other. But the 1156 is also used in car tail lights

Yes a 1156 bulb can fit into the same socket as a 1141. It will be much brighter. For a 1156 that is incandescent we have the part # DI49VR for a pair.
