Will Thule Hullavator Work On 2012 Chevy Equinox with Factory Crossbars

Question:

So, in addition to 750 for a Hullavator, am I going to have to spend a couple more hundred on crossbars? I have a 2012 Chevy Equinox LTZ with factory roof rack and cross bars.

I do have an option for you but the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs part # TH898 is not compatible with factory flush crossbars as they don't have the overhang past the vehicle needed so the arms don't come into contact with the body. The only option would be to replace the factory roof rack with an aftermarket one that has crossbar overhang, the Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails part # C18118 would be a great cost effective option.
