Question:
hello I am interested in getting this Wye double fitting for my system. What kind of fittings will I need to connect the Wye to my pipes if I cut them as the attached photo? I am not sure if I need a male/female or double female. Thanks.

It appears that you will only need the Valterra Street DWV Fitting # D50-2890 to be able to install the Double RV Waste Valves # TR38 on your sewer system. The main Y of the assembly is likely identical to yours with the waste valves attached to the ends. You will likely be able to cut the ABS pipe at the end of the couplers and not need to extend any of your lines as the waste valve will make up for the portion that you cut off.
I have attached a image with the dimensions of the coupler so that you can compare these with your piping to see where the end of the cap will sit if you do cut off the current fitting just behind the couplers.
Be sure to use Valterra ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303 to ensure that you have a proper sealed connection.
If you find that you do not have enough pipe please let me know and I can recommend the additional parts that you will need.
