Thule offers a good kayak carrier that will work with your factory roof rack and it is The Stacker - Rooftop Multi-Kayak Carrier # TH830. If needed, this carrier can carry up to 4 kayaks. However Thule states that this carrier is not recommended for use with kayaks longer than 10 feet. If your kayaks are longer than 10 feet then Thule recommends using the Hull-A-Port J-Style Rooftop Kayak Carrier # TH834, and this is a single kayak carrier.

The Thule stacking style carrier requires a minimum of a 24 inch spread on the roof rack crossbars. Please check your owners manual or the with the manufacturer and check the weight capacity of the roof on your 2010 Subaru Outback.
