The brake controller that I recommend for your 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with tow package is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195. This is a proportional braking control which essentially means that it applies the brakes to the trailer in the same manner that you do in the tow vehicle. So if you slam on the brakes in your truck, your trailer brakes will activate with that same extreme intensity and if you merely slow down as you approach a red light, your trailer will gradually brake in the same manner. It has a quick-disconnect feature that lets you easily remove and store the control when not in use and will work with trailers up to 4 axles.

You will also need the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Jeep # 3073-P. This adapter plugs into the 5-pin connector on your vehicle's built-in brake control wiring harness. The harness is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. The brake controller will then plug into the opposite end of this adapter, giving you the simplest installation possible with no cutting or splicing of wires to install.
