You will need a 7-way connector for your 2021 Lexus RX 350 if you plan to tow a trailer with brakes. It will have to be done in two steps. The first thing you will need is a 4-way connector. My recommendation is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part # 118255. This connector offers a custom fit for your vehicle. You will not have to cut or splice wires to install this connector. It has a power module that that connects directly to your battery, this keeps you from overloading your vehicle's electrical system. The 4-way connector and harness will plug into a port behind your rear bumper.

Next, you will need to convert that 4-way connector to a 4-way and 7-way connector. This will allow you to use trailers that only have a 4-way connector, meaning there are no brakes on the trailer, or those that do have trailer brakes and need a 7-way connector. You will plug your existing 4-way connector into this unit and connect to your existing wiring to create a 4-way and 7-way connections.
