Is the Weight Rating of Each Pin Different for the Blue Ox Base-Plate and Receiver Lock Kit
Question:
I ordered and received a set of 3 pins. One is 5/8 and the other 2 are 1/2 inch. Is there a difference in the load for each?

In regards to the Blue Ox Base-Plate and Receiver Lock Kit part # BX88101, the 5/8" pin is used to secure the tow bar shank inside the motorhome receiver and the two 1/2" pins are used to secure the tow bar ends to the base plate kit. The shear strength for a 5/8" pin will be higher than a 1/2" pin but this should not be a worry as you won't be able to ever max them out which is why the mfg's rarely provide capacity for the pins.
