Can I Use 2 of the 24 Extensions # e99052 for a Complete Cargo Carrier?

Hello, can I use two extensions, connected together, so there are two mounting arms attached to the bumper, as a cargo carrier? I'm looking for an option I can use for my trip this fall.

I have a solution for you. Unfortunately, the 24" Extension for etrailer Bumper Mounted RV Cargo Carriers # e99052 are only compatible with the etrailer RV Cargo Carriers # e99049 and # e99050.

However, for a great alternative option, I recommend the 24x64 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper - Steel - Folding # e83YR. The # e83YR has a 500-pound weight capacity when mounted on your RV's bumper. As far as installation, the # e83YR involves a simple, bolt-on installation with no drilling required. As far as compatibility, the etrailer cargo carrier is designed to fit 4" x 4" and 4-1/2" x 4" RV bumpers. For securing your cargo to the carrier, I recommend the etrailer Cam Buckle Cinch Straps w/ Buckle Protectors - 1" x 13' # E98876-4.

If you would rather have a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, we have those in stock as well. For the hitch route, I recommend the 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # e98874. The etrailer carrier provides 500 pounds of evenly-distributed weight capacity and has internal dimensions of 60 inches wide x 24 inches deep x 5-1/2 inches tall. For extra theft-deterrence, I recommend the Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock for etrailer Cargo Carriers # e99047.
