Which Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Round Bar/Trunnion Is Better For Towing a Forest River Geo Pro?
Question:
I have a Dodge Ram 1500 with four point air suspension and will be towing a 19 foot geo pro trailer, which e2 hitch should i get? Round bar or trunion? Thanks

I recommend the trunnion style weight distribution bars over the round bars as they are less likely to fail compared to the round bars. The round bars being bent give them a weak point and will also reduce ground clearance going over bumps and when cresting hills.
As there are multiple models of the 19' Forest River Geo Pro you will want to go off your specific models weights to determine if you will need the 6,000LB Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0600 or the 8,000LB Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800. It would appear that on the new Geo Pro the tongue weight are around 400-500lbs.
The 6,000LB Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0600 is rated for tongue weights between 250lbs and 600lbs.
The 8,000LB Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800 is rated for tongue weights between 400lbs and 800lbs. This will likely be the best choice as the manufacturer specs that I have were dry weights and when you add your gear you will likely see a tongue weight in this range.
A etrailer Tongue Weight Scale # e99044 can be used if you want to find your exact tongue weight at home.
You will need either a 2" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6080 or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100 to match the coupler on your Geo Pro.
