Can I Use A 2 Hitch Bike Rack On My 2008 Audi A3 2008 With A Class I Hitch Receiver
Question:
Good morning, Is this hitch receiver for Audi 2008 A3 available with 2” receiver? Or, is there a adapter to use a 2” bike rack? Do you ship to Canada? Thanks for your feedback

Your 2008 Audi A3 is only compatible with 1-1/4" hitch receiver. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4", part # C11192, is a Class I hitch receiver that will fit your Audi A3. It has a maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs and a gross maximum tow weight of 2,000 lbs. Anytime you add a hitch adapter you reduce your maximum tongue weight by 50%, changing your maximum tongue weight to 100 lbs. Please keep in mind that will not include the weight of the hitch bike rack. My hitch expander recommendation is Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # HTAD, it is compatible with Class I hitch receivers.
Another option would be to switch to an 1-1/4" hitch bike rack, especially if you are carrying heavier e-bikes. With regards to shipping to Canada, yes that is an option. This is from our Customer Service Shipping page.
I have included a product description link and video review links below.
