For your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed with the OEM puck system I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034. This hitch gives you 14" of rearward travel to give you extra cab to trailer clearance when making sharp turns, but what sets it apart is this hitch has an AutoSlide feature so you do not have to get out before and after each sharp turn to unlock the slider like a standard sliding hitch.
To install this hitch in your pucks you will need to use the Demco Adapter # DM6333.
