Will The Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Be Better For My 2015 Keystone Passport Ultra-Lite Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2015 Keystone Passport Ultralite 36foot aluminum.. It is light, but the material is also minimal and I swear this frame twists when I level it. My concern with the individual jack, leveling systems.. is the frame. I look at this Ultra-Fab 2 with the cross member and it would seam that this would be better for my trailer, not because it is cheaper than the Electric Ground Control TT Automatic Item # LC672136, but because of the cross member. 2 Questions: 1. Am I correct in my thinking that the cross member of the Utra-Fab would be better for my Ultra-Lite frame ? 2, And, will these bolt up to my Passport frame and not create problems with this light frame ??

Yes the width of the crossmember on the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer with Dual Motors - 30" Lift - 6,000 lbs # UF39-941705 will give you more surface contact on the frame of your 2015 Keystone Passport Ultra Lite Travel Trailer. This will reduce some stress by spreading the weight of the trailer out more.

To keep this upgrade to your Passport Ultra Lite as light as possible I recommend the Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack - White Switch Kit - 30" Lift # LC369774. It has a shipping weight of 61 pounds compared to the 136 pounds of the Ultra-Fab. It has a faster motor and heavy gauge steel. It is a single switch single motor device and the Ultra-Fab is a double switch double motor set up.

They both are great products and offer support but the Lippert High-Speed is lighter.
