Parts Needed To Replace OEM Trailer Brake Controller In 2014 Ford F-150 W/ Tekonsha Prodigy P2

Can I use the P2 Controller in place of my factory installed controller. If so will I need a harness adapter? What other problems will I have with this?

Yes, you can replace the factory integrated trailer brake controller in your 2014 Ford F-150 with the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 you mentioned.

You would need to remove the factory harness from the trailer brake controller port in your truck and then using the plug-in wiring adapter # 22292 to install the new controller.

You will also likely need to take your truck in to the dealer to get the computer flashed after the factory controller is removed so that you do not get any error codes.
