Hitch Pin to Spare Tire Carrier Space on a 2010 Toyota RAV4

Question:

Hello, I wanting to know the distance between the hitch pin hole and outside portion of the spare tire for hitch item # C13149 on a 2010 toyota rav4. I looked through the questions and saw some saying it was 7inch and then another saying 3 1/4. I would like to find a hitch that has a distance of 4 1/4inch or less so I don't have to use a hitch extension. If you have any suggestions it would be much appreciated. Thanks for the help

The etrailer Hitch item # e98864 and the Curt Hitch item # C13149 both stick out 7 1/2 inches. If you would like to email me the specifications of your bike rack I would be happy to recommend an extension for you. None of the hitch receivers protrude out as far as you're looking for but I am sure we can find a solution for you.
