I am sorry to hear you are having this issue!

There are a few possibilities on what could cause the Roadmaster Tow Dolly # RM-2050-1 you have to bind up when turning.

The first thing to check is that the steering wheel on your 2010 Hyundai Elantra is locked. If it does not have a built in steering wheel lock you can wrap the seat belt a couple times around the steering wheel and then buckle it in place. Then pull the seat belt all the way out so that as you let it retract it locks.

If you confirmed the steering wheel is locked then make sure that the pivot bolt on the trailer has the deck spacer shown in the included diagram installed between the deck and the trailer frame. If this was left out when the dolly was put together you would have a very difficult time turning.

Let me know what you find and we can go into more in-depth troubleshooting if needed.
