Bike Rack Installed On Rear Of Vehicle With Weight Distribution Hitch While Pulling A Trailer
Question:
I have a 2011 Toyota Tundra 4x4 with a stock 2inch receiver. I tow a 26foot travel trailer Keystone Passport SL 219BHWE that weighs in around 5000 lbs. Id like to be able to carry our 4 bicycles on a hitch-mount rack as well, and not have them hanging off the back of our trailer. Can I use this adapter to pull our trailer with a Fastway e2 WDH as well as mount our Yakima FullSwing bike carrier?

Your best bet is to use the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers # LC429756, this will install on your A-frame trailer and allows your to carry two bikes up to 80lbs without any adapters, and this will allow you to still use a weight distribution system.
If you plan on using a hitch adapter for 2" Trailer Hitches # RM-077-6 you will be unable to use any weight distribution system along with cutting your hitch's capacity by 50 percent; as does any adapter.
Aside from that, the other option is to install a RV approved bike rack and hitch on the rear of your trailer, which didn't sound like something you wanted to do.
