Availability Of Replacement Linkage For Older Pre-IMGL Kwikee Series 28 Steps
Question:
I have a 1999 Fleetwood American Eagle motorhome with a serial #86346 stairs and 28 series - 24inch wide tread steps, I would like to buy a replacement linkage and if I have to a complete gear box. Thanks for any help

Since the direct replacement linkage for your older Pre-IMGL Kwikee Series 28 steps has recently been discontinued, you will need to go with the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee 28 Series Steps # LC379769.
This kit includes a new motor, linkage, and gear box which are the new design to make it so that your steps use the components of the IMGL steps so you can find replacement parts in the future as needed.
