Replacement Gear Box 28 Series Steps on 2000 Itasca Spirit

My current controller is 909506000. Will I have to change the door switch when I install the replacement kit LC379769?

If you just need the gearbox, the linkage will have an A, B, or C. Once you know which one you have, then you will need one of the following:

Lippert Components Kwikee Step Gear/Linkage with A # LC379160
Lippert Components Kwikee Step Gear/Linkage with B # LC379161
Lippert Components Kwikee Step Gear/Linkage with C # LC379162

If you can't confirm which one you have, then I recommend the Upgrade Kit # LC379769 if you have a fairly straight linkage or # LC379145 if you have the curved linkage.

Jason - This is the linkage that I have. Do I understand that this is "B"? Is that correct?

Sorry for the delay. I consulted with Lippert to confirm that is definitely a B linkage on your 28 Series steps.

You do not need to change out the door switch when you install the Lippert Components Kwikee Steps Replacement Kit for 28,31,37,39 SERIES; IMGL/9510 CONTROL # LC379769. The 9510 step control # LC379606 is integrated in this kit and is the replacement for the 909506000 you mentioned. It will integrate with your current door switch if you desire to keep it.
