Recommended Fat Bike Tire Adapter Kit for MaxxHaul Bike Rack
Question:
I have a MAXXHAUL rack with tube size 1foot X 11/4. Will these fit my rack? I have 4foot wide tires so no problem there. I went ahead and ordered the C18091 because Maxxhaul does not make a fat tire adapter to fit my bike tires. I figure I can tweet this one and make it work. Any suggestions anyone?

It is possible that the Fat Bike Adapter Kit for Curt Platform Bike Racks # C18091 will fit but I cannot say for sure since we do not carry MaxxHaul bike racks. I am assuming you are talking about the MaxxHaul 50027. The Swagman Fat Bike Tire Wheel Adapter for XTC 2/XTC - 2 Tires # S64674 looks like a similar design, but just like the Curt I cannot confirm if it will fit. I recommend reaching out to MaxxHaul to see if they have any information about kits from other brands fitting their rack.
If you are unable to find a solution and need a different bike rack, I recommend the Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack for Fat Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # C18085-FB. This bike rack has a capacity of 45 lbs per bike and will fit tires up to 4.88" wide.
