Yes, the Draw-Tite Hitch # 75087 will fit your 2002 Mercedes-Benz M-Class.
I have attached a short installation video that shows this hitch being instlled on a 2003 Mercedes-Benz M-Class for your review.
If you will be towing and need a wiring harness I recommend the Curt wiring kit # C59236. I have also attached a short installation video of this as well. You might also need a ball mount, such as Curt # C45010 as well as a trailer ball. For a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, I recommend the Tow-Ready # 19260 and for a 2 inch trailer ball I recommend the Tow Ready # 63845.
