Best Cost Effective Fifth Wheel Hitch for 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500 with OEM Rail Kit

Hi, I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500 single wheel with a short bed with the factory puck system and I am purchasing my first fifthwheel camper and it has a Turning point hitch. What is my cheapest option for a complete hitch set up? I want something that will work with other campers too in case I was to ever trade at some pont. Thank you

Since your camper has a turning point pin box that would mean you wouldn't need a slider hitch for turning clearance. This means you'd be able to use a fixed hitch which will save you money, weight, and noise on the highway.

The absolute most cost effective solution would be the Curt E16 part # C47FR but due to the slide bar jaw design it would be a bit noisy so for a similar priced hitch with a much nicer jaw design you'd want the Reese # RP26FR instead.

As long as the trailers you plan to tow going forward would have a pivoting pin box or would have a tapered nose (most modern campers do) this fixed hitch solution would work out really well.
