Can Hopkins 7-pole/4-pole Connector HM40975 Be Installed On A 2013 Honda Pilot?
Question:
I want this on my Honda Pilot. Has anyone used it on a Honda? Do the connections work? If so, which connector part did you use? Thanks

We have exactly what you need!
The 7-pole/4-pole connector # HM40975 you were looking at gets connected to a standard US CAR Connector on the vehicle.
While your 2013 Honda Pilot does not have this connector from the factory it is what is used in the Tekonsha 7-way Connector Wiring Harness # 118265 that fits your vehicle. You can easily replace the included 7-way connector with the # HM40975.
Now to mount the connector to your vehicle it will depend on which hitch you have installed. Some hitches have a welded on mount that the mount included with the # HM40975 will attach to, but the majority do not have this. In that case you would need either the no-drill mounting bracket - long # C57202 or the short version # 18140.
I included a few videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
