Offset 5TH Wheel To Gooseneck Hitch Adapter Compatible With Factory Prep/Puck In Bed Hitch System
Question:
I have a 2017 ford lariat with the factory installed Curt puck system in the bed, the ball looks simular to the Reese pick shown in one of your answers on this question. Not recommended for use with factory-installed towing prep packages which use a hitch ball with an integrated locking lever. Does that mean I cant use the C5G1216 on my truck?

I do have another recommendation as you are correct that the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset # CAB-C5GX1216 is not recommended to be used with your factory hitch prep/puck system in the bed of your 2017 Ford F-350.
The Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter w/8" Offset # AM3139 is okay to use with your factory prep Gooseneck Hitch Ball # RP30137. This is similar to the Convert-A-Ball except it does not have the cushioning built in.
