How To Find The Bearing Numbers On A 1976 Jayco Pop-Up Trailer
Question:
Have a 1976 Jayco pop-up. Dexter 2400 lb Axle. Atwood drums appear to be 7inch x 2. Will it be ok to use your 7inch x 1.25inch brake plate assembly? Did I se a 7inch x 1.75inch ? I hope to get by without replacing the drums and bearings.

Unfortunately you can't mix and match hubs and drums so you'll have to replace both. You'll need to first find your bearing combination. To do so you'll need to remove the hub and look at the number stamped into the face of the bearing. If that number is worn to the point that you cannot read it you will need to use digital calipers like the # PTW80157 to precisely measure you spindles according to the included diagram.
Once you have the bearing measurements please reply back and I can find the correct fitment for your 1976 Jayco Pop-up trailer.
