Can a Stationary Fifth Wheel Hitch be Used on 2020 Ram 2500 with Short Bed

I want to use a stationary hitch like this Reese on my 2018 Ram 2500 short bed. I do have the factory puck system. Can this be done?

Yes, you can use a stationary 5th wheel hitch like the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package # RP30918 with your 2018 Ram 2500 with a 6-1/2 foot bed. A sliding hitch is what we typically recommend to make sure you have enough clearance. In order to make this work, you will need a rotating pin box like a Reese Sidewinder. If you let me know what pin box you currently have I would be happy to make a recommendation.
