Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For Camper Trailer With 300-500lbs Tongue Weight
Question:
Which Curt true track trunnion weight distribution with active sway control would you recommend for an 2011 Acura MDX with AWD, 2 people, and a Prodigy brake controller. Full height not a popup camper trailer weight of 3000 to 4000 pounds with a hitch weight of 350 to 500 pounds. Thanks.

I have a different weight distribution hitch recommendation for your 350-500lb tongue weight range, but the lowest rated Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution Hitch is rated for 500-800lbs tongue weight so it will be a bit stiff for your camper.
Instead I recommend going with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Hitch # FA92-00-0600 which works with tongue weights between 250-600lbs so it would be the perfect option for your specific trailer. This hitch has built in two point sway control to keep your trailer going straight when on the road, and the trunnion bars sit up closer to the hitch head giving you more ground clearance than a round bar system.
This hitch does not include a hitch ball so you will need to get 2" hitch ball # A-90 or 2-5/16" hitch ball # 19286 to match the coupler on your trailer.
I included a video of the # FA92-00-0600 for you to take a look at.
