Tekonsha Voyager Light Not On When Leveling

Question:

I just installed a this 9030 voyager brake controller, and went to level it out per the instructions. When I set the gain to max, depress the brake pedal, and then slowly move the delay forward, I don’t get a change in the light color. It stays green the whole time. Brakes seem to be engaging. There is voltage in the red wire. The red light comes on when I slide the manual slide all the way. Do you have any suggestions

Is a trailer connected? If not, the light on the Voyager # 39510 will not change colors. If you do have a trailer connected, then it is possible the red wire is not receiving the full 12 volts, which you'll need to check with the Digital Multimeter # PT89ZR.
