Recommended Hitch With Highest Maximum Gross Trailer Weight for 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon

The hitch with the highest towing capacity for your 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2". This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight of 4,500 lbs and tongue weight of 675 lbs. This hitch is also the easiest to install when compared to the others made for the 2021 Outback.
Since you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467. This wiring harness will provide you with a 4-way connection to operate the lights on your trailer. For a ball mount, the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 has everything you need including a 1-7/8" and 2" ball.
