Can Trailer Hitch From 2019 Subaru Outback Be Removed and Installed on 2022 Model
Question:
Will my hitch from my 2019 Outback work on a 2022?

The 2019 and the 2022 Subaru Outback are of two different generations. Although the hitch from your 2019 Outback won't work on your 2022 model, we do offer hitch fits for that model year.
I'd recommend the trailer Class III hitch, part # e25TR. This hitch is a mostly concealed design. Once installed, the majority of the hitch will be concealed behind the bumper, with only the receiver tube and the safety chain loops being visible. This is the perfect option for folks that want the utility that a hitch offers but don't necessarily like the appearance of a hitch on the back of their vehicle.
If the appearance of the hitch isn't really a concern and you'd prefer something that's easier to install, the Draw-Tite # DT73RR is what I'd recommend.
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness, part # 118467 a ball mount like part # AMSC2 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
I've linked to installation videos for the hitches and trailer wiring harness mentioned above.
