Replacement Axle Solution for 2006 Carry On Dual Axle Trailer
Question:
I have a 2006 Carry-on dual axle trailer with a busted axle. It is a 7X18 flat bed, 225/75R15 tires 5 leaf springs springs mount under the axle. Unsure of the GVWR looking at the Carry-on website, it appears to be 9900 LB GVWR because of the number of springs and tire size. The hub face measures 93 spring mount 79inch center to center axle diameter 3 outer wheel bearing 15123 Please advise which axle I should order from you. I will also need a bunch of hardware. Thanks

The closest option we have that would work well is the Dexter axle part # 8327864-EB which has the same spring center dimension you have of 74 inches but is 1 inch longer overall at 94 inches from hub face to hub face. This is a 7,000 lb capacity axle with a 3 inch outer diameter and comes with hub drums and brake assemblies that have a wheel bolt pattern of 8 on 6-1/2 inch.
You didn't mention what specific hardware you'll need but the part # APUBR-8 is the correct size u-bolt kit you'd need.
