Can 205/75D14 Tire Be Used As Spare For A 215/75D14 Tire On Boat Trailer?

My boat tires are 215/75/14 can I use a spare tire that is a 205/75/14

If a 205/75D14 like the Loadstar # AM1ST86 was the only thing you had to get you off the side of the road it would work for a vert short distance, but you would not want to use it long.

The reason for this is it will be just under 1" shorter than the 215/75D14 tires you currently have. Having a shorter tire on one side will cause the trailer to sit uneven and will put additional weight on the shorter side which is not ideal.

Instead I recommend getting the Loadstar ST215/75D14 # AM1ST90 which is the exact same size as your current tires and will not cause any issues.
