Recommendation for Rooftop Cargo Box, Crossbars, and Kayak Carrier for 2019 Jeep Cherokee
Question:
Were shopping for a roof top box to carry two sets of golf clubs. Wed like a box that would allow us space to add two kayaks also. We have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with factory raised rails so we would also need crossbars. Suggestions?

I recommend the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars for factory side rails that are 50" long, # MPG215. Please note the linked video of this set-up on a 2019 Jeep Cherokee below. These are a full 50" in length so will provide a wider platform for mounting accessories. My reason for suggestion this option is that extra width. This set-up accommodates accessories that mount in the T-slots or clamp around the bars and has an added feature of etched measurements along the bottom channel to help you center the bar on your roof. I strongly suggest that you consider the weight of your cargo if you want to carry sets of golf clubs and two kayaks at the same time.
For your cargo carrier, I suggest the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Cargo Box, # Y95AV. The SkyBox NX 16 has 16 cu ft. of space with an aerodynamic, medium-profile design to help reduce wind noise and drag. The box opens and latches from both sides and is designed to provide clearance when you open your rear hatch. There are accessories available such as the Access Motion Activated LED Light Strip, # A90392.
For your kayak's, I suggest the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs, 1 or 2 Kayaks, # Y04073. I like these J-style cradles that let you easily transport 1 or 2 kayaks with the integrated ramps that help you to load a kayak from the side of your vehicle. The cradle measures 11 x 3 inches, the upright arm is 17-1/2 inches tall and the arm is 6-1/2 inches wide. It's constructed of 1 inch tubing with the padded portions being right at 1-1/2 inches in diameter. The arm locks flat, at 90 degrees and at 120 degrees. I strongly suggest that you consider the weight of your cargo
