Does Weight Distribution System Require A Rise Adapter if Rise Is Needed

Question:

I have a travel trailer that is higher than the tow veh hitch. We currently use a riser ball mount hitch on the tow veh. I need to add some type of weight/sway kit. Looking at the rise mounted adapter and was wondering if a w/d kit will work on the rise?

The great thing about weight distribution systems is that you can flip the shank upside down and install the head back onto it in the rise position to gain additional height as needed like with what comes with the # RP66083. This can do a rise of up to 6-1/2 inches and is good for a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs and comes with best sway control for fighting sway before it starts.
