Can Reese Goose Box RP94720 Be Used With Gooseneck Hitch Plate That Installs In 5th Wheel Rails?

I have a Husky Gooseneck Hitch plate for Fifth Wheel Rails. Can the Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter be used with the Husky gooseneck hitch plate or does it need to be a standard gooseneck ball installed? Thanks

I reached out to my contact at Reese and he was able to confirm that the Reese Goose Box # RP85FR you were looking at will work perfectly on your Husky gooseneck hitch plate that attaches to 5th wheel rails.

The only thing you will need to verify is that the hitch plate AND 5th wheel rails have a rating that is greater than the weight of your trailer.

Lastly the # RP85FR you were looking at is designed to replace the Lippert 1621, 1621HD, and 0719 pin boxes, or the 1716 pin box by using spacer kit # RP61301 so you will need to confirm which pin box your trailer has. If you do not already know which pin box your trailer has just send me a picture of the serial number sticker located on the pin box itself and I would be happy to identify it for you.
