Your 2013 GMC Terrain AWD is able to be flat towed (all four wheels on the ground) but there are some steps you need to follow to get your vehicle ready for flat towing, which can be found under 'Dinghy Towing' in your owner's manual. Note: AWD models of the 2013 GMC Terrain are not able to be dolly towed (two wheels on the ground) and should instead be towed on a flat bed. To flat tow your 2013 GMC Terrain you'll need a tow bar, base plate, tow bar wiring kit, breaking system, and safety cables. I have the following recommendations for you below:

Tow Bar: Since you said you have a Blue Ox tow bar you'll want to ensure you get compatible base plate to Blue Ox tow bars to avoid having to buy an additional adapter.

Base Plate: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1689. This base plate is compatible with your Blue Ox tow bar and has removable arms for a clean look when not towing your vehicle.

Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit allows you to use your GMC Terrain's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. The includes 7-wire to 6-wire Flexo-Coil electrical cord is resistant to water, oil, chemicals, and has silicone-injected plugs to prevent corrosion.

Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # HM39524. This system offers intense, emergency braking or steady, smooth braking in a single portable system. Easily switch between proportional or full braking using the included remote from your RV. The included charge line kit will keep your vehicle's battery charged while towing so you don't arrive at your destination with a dead battery.

Safety Cables:RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000lbs # RM-643. The coiled design of these cables will help prevent them from dragging on the ground and being damaged.

As per GM Technical Service Bulletin 17-NA-348, GM has identified 4-cylinder models of this vehicle as having steering instability issues while towing. If you have a 4-cylinder model of this vehicle, you will need # RM-76517 instead of a # RM76511, and will need to leave fuse DLIS #32 intact and pull the ABS module fuse located under the hood. Note: due to manufacturing variances, some 4-cylinder models may label the ABS module fuse as #15 or #16, so you'll need to check your manual to determine the correct one to pull. If you have a 6-cylinder model then you will pull fuse 32 which you can see on the attached picture and you'll be able to use # RM76511 for a quick disconnect switch.
