Why Do Weight Distribution Systems Make Grinding Noise

Why does the sway bar that came with my lift bars for my trailer make a very loud grinding noise when turning?

Weight distribution systems have quite a bit of tension in them due to the spring bars and they also have parts under tension that have to move so this is why you are hearing the sound you mentioned. The friction also helps to reduce sway so lubricating it to try and make it go away would not be your best solution.
