Recommended Weight Distribution/Sway Control Hitch for 2022 GeoPro G19FBS?
Question:
I am interested in purchasing a weight/sway control hitch to be used on my 2017 Nissan Frontier King Cab 4L V-6 that will be towing a 2022 Forest River Rockwood GeoPro G19FBS camper trailer. I noticed the Reese and am familiar with its reputation from way back when my Dad had one towing our little 60s Shasta trailer with an Oldsmobile sedan. I suppose that these hitches have come a long way in 50 years but its nice to know that they were one of the first to make them. Could you recommend the appropriate Reese or other brands equivalent hitch system to marry my truck to my camper trailer given the weights and capacities please? And in your opinion, the best suited for my particular setup? Nissan Max Tow Weight = $6500 Rockwood GeoPro G19FBS = UVW 3375 Lbs. CCC = 1104 Lbs. Hitch Weight = 479 Lbs. Length 20foot 8

You'd choose the correct weight distribution/sway control system based on the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your 2022 Rockwood GeoPro which would range from about 450 to 650 lbs. I'll link to a help article that explains how to determine this, but it's just about certain that your loaded tongue weight would be below 800 lbs.
If you determine that the as-towed tongue weight is between 500-1000 lbs, I'd recommend the Reese Steadi-Flex, part # RP66559. The 2-5/16 inch trailer ball is sold separately as part # 19286. The system will level the ride height between the front and rear truck axle and will do an excellent job of keeping the trailer on track behind the tow vehicle.
If the loaded tongue weight is between 400-600 lbs, go with the lower-rated system, part # RP66558.
I'll link to a video showing a typical installation/setup which you'll find helpful.
