Can Kuat NV 2.0 4 Bike Rack NV22G-NA22G Be Used With Bikes That Have Fenders?

Question:

Hi! I was lookinag at the Kuat NV22G for 4 bikes, but 2 of our bikes have fenders...Im curious if we secured the tires right in front of the fenders if wed be ok? One is a 20 Frog 52 the fenders go max ~3 inches in front of the brake caliper, and a Giant Quick E+1 - fenders ~3 inches in front of the fork. Any thoughts? We want a rack strong enough for the e-bike, with the flexibility to go down to a 20inch - looked at the Hollywood Racks too $600, but its considerably heavier. Or the Thule TC2 I think?. Want something easy to use and strong enough to last. Thanks!! Vehicle is a 2018 Honda CR-V EX, AWD. We bought the 2 hitch from yall already!

Thanks for the info on your bikes!

I did not find any pictures of a 20" Frog 52 with a fender, but I was able to find a picture of your Giant Quick E+1 and as long as both bikes have fenders that go the same distance forward you shouldn't have any problems using the Kuat NV 2.0 4 Bike Platform Rack # NV22G-NA22G. This is a great easy to use bike rack that tilts while the bikes are loaded, and has a built in repair stand if needed when out on the trailer.

The wheel hooks can go in front of the front fenders as shown in the included picture of a customer's bikes loaded.

To be able to use your bike with 20" wheels you will need to get the Children's Bike Adapter # 016-025-00-00.

Lastly keep in mind that this bike rack when loaded with 4 bikes has a weight capacity of 40lbs per bike so you will need to make sure all of your bikes stay under that weight.

I took a look into your order history and this bike rack will fit the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 76128 on your 2018 Honda CR-V EX without any clearance issues.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
