Which SumoSprings Model Do I Need for My 1997 Holiday Rambler on a F-53 Chassis?

Question:

I was told that ssr-181-54-1 was the correct fit?? 1997 F53 holiday Rambler But Now everybody says the ssr-187-54-1 is?? The install shows in front of the rear axel on the leaf springs. But the 181-54-1 install over the center of the rear leaf springs. This is Real Confusing?? What is the part number for the 1997 sumo springs for this frame?? also i have seen a lot of comments that the ssr-187-54-1 are Not the correct fit on my frame. I was recomended the ssr-181-54-1 springs.

I have a solution for you. As far as Sumo Springs for your 1997 Holiday Rambler on a F-53 Chassis, we only carry suspension options that are rated to fit your vehicle with a GVWR of 22,000 pounds. There are different parts for the front and rear if you are looking at helper springs. I reached out to my representative at Super Springs, and he confirmed that the rear does take the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-181-54-1, not the Sumo Springs # SSR-187-54-1. Both of these parts install on the side of leaf springs in relation to the rear axle. As far as the front, that part is the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs - 2 Piece - Front Axle # SSF-172-40-2.
