Are the Hitches Available for a 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Able to be Used With Weight Distribution?

Hi, were looking at purchasing a hitch receiver for a 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. However, the Curt, Draw-Tight, Stealth hitches listed as compatible all state that theyre not rated for use with a weight distribution hitch. I believe we would need a weight distribution hitch in order to tow our lightweight trailer max 2700lbs. Is there a hitch receiver available for the Stelvio that can safely work with a weight distribution hitch? Would the OEM one be rated for it? Thanks for your help

We definitely have hitches available for your 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio, but none will be rated for use with a weight distribution system, unfortunately. However, if you were concerned about potential sway issues, we do have an option available that will alleviate these concerns.

The Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 helps correct sway in trailers with or without a weight distribution. This one-time, maintenance-free installation is a self-calibrating design, meaning there is no need to set up or continually adjust it.

As to a hitch, the correct one will depend on if you have the Quadrifoglio version of Stelvio or not. If you do not, the Draw-Tite # 76199 will be a good option. This is rated up to 4,000 pounds towing and 600 pounds of tongue weight. This will be mostly hidden from view with just the receiver tube being exposed.

If you do have the Quadrifoglio, you will need the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH54FRT. This will be completely hidden when not in use and will also come with all the wiring needed.

Again, these will not be rated for use with a weight distribution system, but would still be good options for your vehicle.
