Unable to Re-Install the Dust Covers After Installing the Hitch On a 2016 Rogue

Question:

The hitch installed with out any issues the bolt holes lined up without any errors but when I try to install the dust/debris covers the trailer hitches side is stopping me from installing the dust covers appearance panels. Any suggestions ? the installation video doesnt show the reinstallation of the appearance panels.

Though these panels can be left off after installing the Curt # C13204 on your 2016 Nissan Rogue, trimming will typically be needed to reattach them. I went through the videos we have of this hitch, but we do not show the trimming being done.

With that said, I checked some of the other hitch options and I did find one where we show where to cut. This is an install of a Draw-Tite # 75902, but this does install the exact same way as the # C13204. I included this install video and if you jump to 4 minutes, it will show what you need to do.
