Most Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon

Question:

My 2022 Outback has a cutout in the bumper for the trailer hitch so that the hitch will not interfere with departure angle. The pictures you show have the hitch sitting below the bumper. Does one of the hitches you offer allow for the install height to be even with the bottom of the bumper fascia? Thanks

All of the aftermarket trailer hitch receivers for your 2022 Subaru Outback such as the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C67JR sit underneath the rear bumper of your vehicle, and do not fit inside of the bumper.

The closest option is the # e65ZR mentioned which installs with just the receiver visible but it installs underneath the bumper.

If you are planning on towing a trailer with your Outback you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # C56040, and a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
