How To Get 7 - 8 Long Roller Bunks For Boat Trailer

Question:

I thought you used to have 7-8foot roller bunks, but I cannot find them on your site now. Was I mistaken? The carpet covered wood bunks I have now are in sad shape and need replacing, but I would rather have rollers instead. What would you suggest? Can I get away with the 5foot set? Thank you for your time.

I would be happy to help!

We have not carried 7' or 8' long roller bunks, but I do have a solution for you.

You may be able to get away with 5' roller bunks but typically the length of the bunks is recommended to be at least 50% of the length of your boat. Assuming your boat is longer than 10" your best choice will be going with two sets of the Dutton-Lainson 4' Long Roller Bunks # DL21740 to get to the 8' length you mentioned.

Since you will be adding two more bunks than you currently have you will need to add Bunk Brackets # DL21742 and U-Bolts to secure them to the frame of your trailer. If you can tell me the height and width of your frame I would be happy to recommend the correct option for you.

I included a few video reviews of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
