Camera System For Use With Off-Road Trailer

Question:

Hi - really value you guys and your research, so reaching out in general as opposed to this specific item. I have a Black Series HQ15 and am looking for the following capabilities: backup/rearview camera, side cameras that I can mount low enough to capture trailer wheels and upcoming obstacles in addition to occasional side view of traffic my truck has blind spot and the mirrors I bought from you guys are awesome!, a camera I can mount under the trailer so that I can see my suspension clearance. I am thinking the 3 camera setup from Furrion might do it, esp if I purchase another wide angle camera for under the trailer, but I am very open to suggestions. Best Regards

Thanks for the kind words and glad the mirrors are working out for you! You pose an interesting question here, and there is no doubt that the 3-camera Furrion observation system will be perfect for the back-up/observation and side cameras:

- Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras - 5" Screen # FCE48TASL-05.

So that will absolutely be your best option for those; the only thing that I can't recommend is adding the fourth camera to that system underneath your off-road trailer as a permanent install. The cameras simply aren't designed to withstand that kind of rigor, so the only option we offer that I can recommend for the fourth camera is something you mount temporarily for limited use:

- Rampage Wireless Backup Camera for Smartphone or Tablet # RA7710

This is a magnetic mount camera that becomes a Wi-Fi hot spot when it is turned on, so you don't need cell service, you only need your phone to utilize it. This will be something you can use when needed but won't permanently mount to best avoid damage. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out of this camera if you'd like to take a look.
