Troubleshooting Tekonsha Primus IQ TK90160 Having N.C Error Code
Question:
I have been using this controller for a few years without any issues. Recently it started having this issue. I have replaced the connector at the back of the car and I have the same issue. I happens with both of my trailers. I then tried attaching the trailers to my sons truck and the trailer breaks work as expected. Not sure what to try next.

Since your Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160 is now saying N.C and you have already replaced the connector on the tow vehicle, and tried the trailers on a different tow vehicle then your issue is the brake output wire running from the trailer brake controller to the 7-way connector.
This would be the only cause for the n.c error you have since you already verifed the issue is not the trailers. You will need to climb under your tow vehicle and trace the brake output wire from the 7-way connector back towards the controller looking for any damaged sections. Any damaged sections will need to be replaced with # 10-1-1 and heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-5.
I included a link to a helpful article on wiring along with a video of the # TK90160 for you to take a look at.
