Replacement 4 Flat Connector for a 2013 Ford Explorer
Question:
Ok this wiring is pretty close to what I need, but.... I have one of these Tinch connectors that got all corroded as the initial installers did poor job of making it weathertight. Now I need to purchase a new connector, but wondering if you make a simpler one?? My two trailer only use the flat 4 wire connectors and I really dont need the Tinch setup as nothing plugs into that end of wiring. Do you make a plug that plugs in to harness, but only has the 4 or 7 wires actually in use for trailer??

We definitely have replacement options for a 4 Flat on your 2013 Ford Explorer. I am including a full replacement for your T harness, as this is what I suggest doing, but also an option to cut off the end of your 4 Flat and splice on a new end.
The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat # 118540 will be a full replacement for your damaged harness. This is a plug and play harness that will take at most 10 minutes to get installed. Due to all this, I recommend going this way.
However, if your prefer to just replace the plug on the end, you can use the Hopkins Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector - 48" Wire Lead # HM48035. To splice this onto the end of the wires, I highly suggest using heat shrink butt connectors, like the # DW05744-5 for the 16 gauge wire, and # DW05743-5 for the 18 gauge wires. This will help keep the connections much more weather proof.
